HELLO!
I'm June Berger, graphic designer and branding professional turned full time artist. I love creativity and am enjoying this adventure of marrying design and fine art. The core inspiration is the wisdom of Old Testament and New Testament scripture and the amazing promises, accounts and pathways that the Word reveals.
My paintings are meant to communicate scripture but they also are designed to be beautiful all by themselves without any particular meaning attached ... except for what you see. All you have to do is love and be inspired by them ... and I hope you are:)

NEW CREATION III
Inspired by II Corinthians 5.17 / If anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation; the old has passed away, behold, all things become new.
The dictionary describes 'new' as 'not existing before; made, introduced, or discovered...' How is it that in Christ we can actually become a 'new creation'??? But we do. It's other-worldly, mysterious and wonderful beyond any words ever invented ... and real.
Jesus changes everything and I hope this painting either reminds you of that or maybe makes you curious. Let's hear it for 'new'!

You take the written word and invite With color and imagery, sometime clear other times not, your work moves me to my imagination and my feelings. The visual invites me into an experience of what this topic or portion of scripture might mean or is saying. It moves me beyond dualistic thinking which opens encounter with the Divine. This is important to me for I believe the Divine is only truly known experientially.

My favorite so far is the Love Story 1. Obviously an amazing verse, but I looked at the red dot as His blood and it tied together with His love ... just loved it.
